I've actually increased the front axle capacity 500 lbs. by going to IFS, now my 69 D100 has a 3000 lb. front end
Not to mention all the other things that everybody does to upgrade there sweptlines, ie power steering, motor mounts, dropped axles, etc.
Once the frame is swapped all the problems go away and everything bolts right in and it's still all Mopar.
