The late model frame has a higher offset over the rear axle and would change your box and cab alignment height wise.
So, basically you would have to raise your cab or cut channels in your bed floor to lower the bed to line up with the cab.
Also the late model frames bolt directly to the bed with no mounts, which could be modified if need be, but the offset over the axle is the main reason I decided to "Z" the frame along with the 114" vs 115" wheelbase.
