Does anyone have information on water pump shaft lenghth between a cast iron and an aluminum one ? The cast iron one I have is 5 1/2 inches from base to end of fan nub. 68 D100 318 LA Auto The 3 (big)auto parts stores around here don't even have the water pumps in stock. They want me to order

The 3 (big)auto parts stores around here don't even have the water pumps in stock. They want me to order one and pay for it "just" to measure it.
The independent ones just tell me good luck.
