Hi folks. I'm looking at trading my 64 Dodge 2dr project for a Sweepy. I thought I should learn about the trucks as much as I could before I jumped into to pond. I've been offered a 69 SWB trade against my 64. I have no idea of the value for these trucks. I'm hopping to educate mysel

Demulsion made some very good points. He is spot on.

I have sold about 10 Sweptline short box's. The step side seems to be very popular. I have to admit that the flair side looks pretty cool on the 69 to 71 models. (not too shabby on the earlier models either.)

Insofar as price goes, the price has spiked at least $1000 upward in just the last 24 months. )

BTW, I am also located on the West Coast so you will have to add at least 1000 or more for east coast.

I would estimate that a straight and nearly rust free Sweptline short box would range from 2500 to 3500 west coast. The price stated for this example would be faded paint etc .

I hope this helps your trade idea. Again,.. Watch for rust. Patches and panels are available for most rust areas.

Keep in mind that my analogy stems from a person whom is known to buy reasonably low and sell reasonably low. Gordo
