I think the Buy Sell ad forum could be a increase traffic gitter.

This forum runs smooth (thanks Phil) so lets bring it!!

Currently buy sell has many outdated ads, many of which are sold or no longer available.

I have several ideas yet there is one that is worthy of consideration or discard as "bad idea"

A forum member sends an ad in on special template provided by Phil and Mark. designate the special template as, say for instance, a "temporary sticky".

The sticky would be in the traditional "main thread forum". Not a true sticky as it would float downward. It would not be a answerable sticky but could contain "pictures only" of product and a link to DTA Buy/Sell where the seller has full description etc..

The existing buy/sell feature would be the only place for conversation on the ad,.. not in the direct forum.

The regular forum "temporary sticky" would go ""downward"" as a thread that had no replies. Soon to be out of site. Pardon the pun in spelling site.

One last thing,.. In 30 days the Buy/Sell ad would be automatically removed by management. It could however be revived/replaced by seller through another new or perhaps same reusable "temporary sticky" with sellers relisting date and changes etc.. Gordo
