what I have learned is the PG trucks had optional locking glove box. so rare even on those. I have already painted the interior of the truck and don't want to try and match another glove box. I also figured out that the hole is a standard in the cabinet/lock/latch world so at least I can get something to fit. maybe I can modify a dash knob onto an off the shelf latch.
If I tried installing the more common latch I would have to drill holes in the dash for the catch and not sure I can get a drill in there....
