I no longer have a D100 or a D200. I can't measure the difference between frame of the the 100, or D200, And then compare to my the 300 frame. Recently, I tried to put a power steering harness for the Ford Power steering box onto my 1968 dodge 300 and was unable as a it interfered with my 318

300 and up ARE a couple inches narrower, making the column further 'inboard' and would explain your finding. The cab mount brackets extend further out from the frame on 300 & up so cabs physically fit between 1/200 and 300/up.
