I presently have a 318 four speed in a 68 D300. I need more power with cubic inches and will switch to 360 cu. inches and 727.. I will not put in 440 into the D300 due to my ford power steering not fitting as well as engine mount problems. ( frame clearances Regarding my power steering ) Question,.

No Gordo. The bell crossmember is torched out for an auto and a different crossmember installed further back. then u have to figure out shifter linkage, radiator and more.
Better to sell the damn truck as is and retire! smiling smiley
