Judging from what little information the picture shows, she is about a 1948 model, the truck however could be any year from 1961, to 1966, it's a W200.

Just a Followup to the tragic death of our friend, JimmieD. Those of you who knew Jim, knew he was a private man, with little regard for the intrusion into our lives called the government. That aversion to being on the grid, came back to haunt us and his children, as Jim had not listed any beneficiary for his belongings, guns and bank accounts. Let me take this time to remind any of you how imp

In a most amazing turn of events, I discovered Jim had a family, a son and two daughters. It has been a taxing and stressful week, one which ended on a positive note as I spent nearly a hour on the phone with his son and youngest daughter. Jimmie has to be smiling down on this turn of events.

Thanks Terry! I know he would have loved reading that! He commented favorably about you on several occasions. He always had a twinkle in his eye when talking trucks and forum affairs, it gave him great joy.

I just wanted to add, Terry and Jim had some pretty notable discussions here in the past, but Jim always respected Terry's knowledge and input. Some of those exchanges were classic. He will be very missed.

On Tuesday, April 8, 2014, my friend Jim Dardis, was traveling from his Southern Sierra home, where he lived, as a caretaker on my ranch, to his doctor in Lake Isabella. Jim was driving his beloved Dodge Town Wagon, when a woman in a Blazer, came across the double yellow and hit him head-on. Jim was severely injured and airlifted to a hospital where both drivers succumbed to their injuries. In a

From the "Best of the Forum" The ferd part number is: COAZ9202B ...and I've found brass, plastic and cork used as floats in our tanks, often somewhere in the past 51 years owners change things to keep 'em running.

Hi John, Thanks! There's been a few health problems, but generally all is good. I'm out of warranty, but Tina's been putting up with me anyway! Just when I'm healthy enough to go into the shop, something else comes up, but I'm hoping to get back at it again.

Thanks guys! I've been the victim of a hacker/Trojan/virus/stupidity? the past month so I've been stuck without the keyboard and absent. Just got the computer back from the laundry, the monitor is still on the spin cycle, man am I dizzy! I'll have some NEWS in a day or two and an introduction.

Just wanted to thank everyone who scoured their parts bins and derelict trucks, looking for hinges. (especially Gordo!) I'm happy to say that Terry found and sent me a set this week! Now after 8 months of searching I can say I have a pair..... ha! ha!

Thanks John! As you can see, we are still up, this morning. The amount of last minute emails and appeals to me has been pretty cool. So I'm mulling over a few suggestions.

I have to be honest, as the dead line came closer, it was harder and harder for me to let go. Thanks to all (very many!) who sent me emails pleading to keep it going. I wish there was another way to keep the community going here. It's not a matter of cost, but of time and commitment on my part. I am humbled and grateful for all of the support shown over the years. QuotePowerMan Thanks Norm for all your work. I have leared a lot about these trucks the past 7 years. It was right at 7 years ago with in a week or so when my Dad and I bought my W100 and began the restoration. Between the DTA photo albums and the people on this forum so many of my questions were answered. I was also nice to meet you a few years back at the California Power Wagon Rally. Hope all
