Quotetxas2step Just go to the hardware store and find a nylon grommet/bushing that fits the inside of the top of the pedal rod and some brass washers in front of the cotter pin...that's what I used on several of my trucks. I'm having trouble identifying the correct carb. Can someone please share the exact model that would work on my 66? I know it's a carter 2 barrel, but I'm seeing a variety of carbs.For example low and high versions. Also none of the ones I am seeing have the air cleaner bails. Has anyone ever tried the clamp on air cleaner brackets? Thanks!
