Well, wouldn't surprise me in the least if Briggs is buying it from them. Who know's? Briggs even went so far as to void warranties, if you didn't use there oil. But they dropped the requirement, was only a one year thing. I still use it, for there generators only because it's easier to just use there oil as it comes standard in all there tuneup kits. But, everything else..

Sounds like your making reference to the adjustment screw and lock nut. As mentioned the fill plug, should be a pipe plug not a slotted screw.

I run an electrical contracting business and I service a lot of air-cooled 4-stroke engines as well as water-cooled and diesel engines too. About 5 yrs ago I did a ton of research on different oils, mainly based on the zinc issue with flat tappet and older engines as I service and maintain both. As far as the synthetic's vs regular, my only experience with true full synthetics is, I really

I've done exactly what your doing and as mentioned you have to keep it waxed really good after you get to where you want it, or it will oxidize. I used a polishing kit from Harbor Garbage....come with all the little buffing wheels and compounds, works really good and inexpensive.

I agree, Fix the original setup, CPP is a lot of modifications. You also have to use a funky offset adapter on the column to get it line up with the original rag joint.

Depending on what they did to the suspension on your truck to lower it, it may not be your tires that is giving you what is called bumpsteer. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there modifying these trucks today and not doing very safe things and all they care about is looks. I'd be seriously looking at the suspension in your truck to see what they did.

Some of the 6cyl bells will work with the 318 small block. If not, you'll need the 318 small block bell housing and motor mount brackets for the engine. Other than that it should bolt right in. Wiring harness for the engine might be a little to long for the coil and distributor, but everything else should work.

Just as a heads up The RamMan kit uses a specially machined rotor, so it's not an off the shelf part. From what I understand the Scarebird Kit uses off the shelf parts, nothing modified.

It's been a while since I messed with the regulators and windows. If you remove the window crank and unscrew it from the door it may allow the window to drop below the top of the door. I can't remember if there is a rubber stop for the glass lower channel, you could remove that to allow the glass to lower below the top of the door, this way you would not have to possibly remove the cr

You can also google any of the Jeep parts suppliers, they carry a lot of 15" 8-lug wheels too. 4WD Harware, Quadratec, etc. are just a couple places to look.

Apparently, Chrysler produced different, two to be exact. For passenger cars they used a -15F from 62-68 and a -20F for 69-73. My 68 along with another 68 core support has a -20 on it. So, we seem to have some difference between trucks and passenger cars. The earlier one also is printed "-15F with Mopar Antifreeze" and the late one is printed "-20F with Chrysler Antifreeze"

Kind of sorry, I got involved myself...... Have to say, I did make a ton of contacts on there it's amazing how many people are on there with sweptlines. But to each his own, I'm going to be sticking with the forums. Much easier getting around and finding info, FB is basically just public messaging site, so nothing is archived and there is so much traffic and repeat tech stuff it's

No, your right. After being on there for almost 2yrs. The site and the forum are in my opinion much better with everything archived and right there to go back and look at. FB is a read it and it's gone. Trying to find info, unless it's current, it's impossible to find anything.

Hey guys, haven't been active too much lately, but I'm back and will be floating back and forth between here and Sweptline.org. I'm done with the whole FaceBook thing........meet a lot of good guys and shared some cool info and stories over the last year and half. Hopefully, a lot of them will be checking in here. But that social media is way to political for me and talk about
