Well, my D100, I have had for 32 years and has had a very good 318/360 combo in the last 17 years, I decided to insert a 360 that I conquered cheaply by someone who failed at and not put any weight on crankshaft.I refurbished it and mounted it in the car, but at boot exploded right mufler.I thought that there was leakage in the valves so I dismantled the head and blew a valve that was not very good, but it did not.It exploded just as wonderful . If nothing else, and do than change mufler and thats it!. it was clever, has worked with the engines in most of my life, but it was the first time for this. the old muflers has every where for 16 years so it was time and change.No explosion! An experience richer! The engine runs like music.
