....The motor home chassis is all painted nice gloss black and I restored the underside of the cab floors,, I used my cherry picker that lifts 13 ft high and a fabd. up set of boat winches to raise the cab off the chassis to do this work,, it worked great and safe also,, powerwashed under floors to remove loose dirt, Primed with red oxide primer then 3 coats of gloss black. Next I will undercoat the insides of the new front fenders and get them painted up nice and start sanding them to paint to match the cab. Since it was a stick trans truck I removed the clutch
pedal to run the 727 TF. I also undercoated the interior floors and they cleaned up super nice. I got all new rubber body mounts for the cab to ride on as I had to remove the metal cab mounts off of the old chassis to use on this MH chassis. I will have to remodel the cable throttle linkage from the MH application to fit the truck gas pedal, probably just a rod to the carb will work O.K. I still have not figured out what I am going to do for a bed as the MH chassis is a dually so maybe a custom flatbed or something,, any suggestions??? (Other than sell the whole concoction to Norm for $4.00!)......Havin fun in the shop..........BNC
