The message "views" total is far from accurate.
The total listed next to the message in reality only includes the number of times that specific message has been clicked.
If u read the forum in the multiple message format, u will see all messages in a topic, but only the one u clicked will register a hit.
For example, Britt's "what would u do" topic shows 50+ views on the starter topic, but reply views are far from that number. Yet in actuality, the replies have been viewed many more times than that.
Or, if u click one of the replies, it will register a hit, but all of the other messages will be available to be read without adding another "view".
I know, I know, I should get a life....
