I have a set of Heads and Valve Covers installed on my engine with 2 mounting bolts for the covers. I looked under the valve cover and the center boss has no tapped hole on the center boss. I also have an extra set of Heads and Covers with 3 bolts and the center boss is drilled and tapped. What

I have a set of Heads and Valve Covers installed on my engine with 2 mounting bolts for the covers. I looked under the valve cover and the center boss has no tapped hole on the center boss. I also have an extra set of Heads and Covers with 3 bolts and the center boss is drilled and tapped. What's the difference (besides cover mounting holes) between these two heads?
