I thought I would share with you the inferior components that Stant makes. At one time they made a good quality product. Not anymore.

The thermostat in my swepty, brand new engine. Kept hitting 220 degrees and climbing. Switched the thermostat, bam 180 degrees. New thermostat is a Robert Shaw.

My Ram, oil filler cap, broke off in the valve cover, had to chisel it out.

On my Dakota, gas cap internals rusted causing it not to seal and tripping the check engine light. Failed at 60,000.

I used to work or these people. I seen first hand at how they do things. Alot of duct tape and expoxy engineering.
