My closed knuckle Dana 44f is cracked at the lower pivot bearing cup. Is this repairable by welding? Does anyone in Northern Calif. have a housing if mine can't be weld repaired. It's a 4.09 ratio, I've searched Craigslist and called wrecking yards. My only other option is change to a later model open knuckle and convert to disc brakes. Any help would be appreciated. I have a pic but don't know how to post.
