On November 14,1914 the first Dodge Brothers car rolled out of the Dodge Brothers plant in Hamtramck Michigan. It had a 12 volt electrical system and a starter generator, "silent starter", and a 3 speed sliding gear transmission as well as leather seats and full instrumentation standard all for $785.00 F.O.B. Detroit.
