I went to see this truck today. It's not a Dodge but I thought it was pretty cool. It's a factory 4x4 GMC with the big block 305 V6. I've heard good things about those engines but never had one.

I drove it and it runs well... from what I could tell it appears to have a Dana 44 front and a GM Corporate somethin' or another in the rear. Also has a PTO which operates the winch.

The guy selling it had a bunch of various GMC 4x4's from the 60's to 80's. The subject truck has a 60 hood and the original goes with it too.

He was drooling over my 69 W200! If mine only had power steering.
I'm likely going to pass on buying the 62 GMC... economy and all... plus I do like the Dodge trucks. The lack of power steering is killing me though. Especially with mine as it has the Dana 60 front and is nasty to park.

What do you guys think of those GMC's? Honestly!!!
