It's a 71. I didn't know the earlier trucks had them. I guess they would if they had the larger fuel tank. And thanks for checking with him... If he's still got some I'd definitely be interested.

Does anyone reproduce/know where to get new tool stowage stickers? Unfortunately, had to replace the hood and the new one doesn't have it.

QuoteKlebert L. Hall I'm gonna go with "It was never necessary to remove the Poly from your truck." Agreed. In my experience, a stock poly has been a perfectly good engine. What you're working on sounds neat, though. I'll definitely look into it when I rebuild the Poly 318 in my '63.

Quote66D200GAWhat about the end that attaches to the pedal? Same? The pedal just sort of sits on top of the rod. It doesnt really even attach to it.

Quote66D200GA How do I become a DTA member? I'd love to get one of those stickers for when it is all done to slap on the back window. I'm not 100% sure, but I think you became a DTA member when you joined the forum. The stickers by themselves were for sale on here someplace for a couple of bucks, one came with the mirror set I bought a few months ago.

Looks like you've found a good truck to start with. Good luck and "have fun" with your project... Quote66D200GA Get stock 3 hole mirrors and remove crazy lights / side mirrors. Mark (swptln) is selling great reproduction single post mirror arms. There is information under the "Announcements" tab on the forum.
