I'm going to put a 383bb from my 71D100 truck and a tranny that is a short tail from a '78 motor home, taking out the 318-np435, now am I right is the manual trans shifting on center of tranny ? and the auto tranny shift is to the left of center. So if I have to go floor shifter will it fit above the pto knob that's on the lower left of manual shifter. On the center hump.
