Yes.It's a '71 A/C truck.Took out the whole box and used the V.A unit in it's place.Plenty of room. GP

That's about what I did back in 2000.Mine was a factory A/C truck to begin with.It worked fine and would blow very cold. I would be happy to share my experiences with you.At that time I used their Gen 2 unit.It fits nicely under the dash and my truck is a 4 spd. Gary

As nice as that truck is you might consider new wiring.Lots of good generic kits available.Don't know if it's practical or time friendly.GP

Definately don't shy away from ready made generic harness.Take your time and refer to your factory schematic for reassurance.It will happen and you will be pleased.Gary

Have you ruled out a blocked radiator?Overheating at higher speeds can be a sign of a radiator with reduced flow.gp
