Did you use a gasket for the install or the silicon like they recommend?

Looking for some help. I have a 68 W200 Sweptline Power Wagon with the 383. Having trouble finding headers that will work with this truck. Some are close but won't work with manual tranny or PTO. Anyone have any experience with this issue or any suggestions/advice?
