I've been under the weather and busy these last couple of weeks but have done some measuring. The inside of the front Chivy clip is narrower so I may have to do some clearance work for the Cummins AC pump. The motor mount angles are about 7* off so I may just make new platforms for the Dodge mounts or remake the Dodge mounts. It will depend on where I need to place the engine height-wise.

Did some more work. Put in the new rear main and speedi-sleeve, 47RH adapter and tranny, killed the Killer Dowel Pin and cover bolts, new front main and ready to pull the combo out of the frame.

Here is where I cut the 62 frame. Will not even have to redo the front cab mounts!

Did a little work after thinking and planning for too long. Cut out a little on the inside of the 62 frame and slid the 85 inside. I need to cut the front in a V and then start welding, boxing, and plating.

Tried to include a photo but it did not work. Can you add a photo in a "reply" or just in an original post?

Maybe you should fly out and drive a Frito truck home for another adventure. You might go deaf.......but it would be a good story!

Looks pretty cool to me! Nice to see it out getting muddy as Mother Mopar intended. Is it a former fire truck from the front bumper?

Small rant about the new TV commercial for the 2009-2010 Dodge Ram pickups. Do they not know about the one's from 1961 to 1985 or is it that since they are under new ownership, everything is "new?"

Get well soon Norm!!! That would be so scary to have that happen. My dad has had some similar things with his eyes and nearly needed the operation you had. He is doing well and I hope you make a full recovery also! As hard as it is....give yourself time to heal. Troy

When you get your 2 new interlocking mounts, one should face the front and one to the rear to prevent the motor from moving front to rear if the tranny mount also fails.

I think my 4bt's are all rotary pumps. $5000? I think the bank would have better terms than me. I have been saving up for 8 years now to build the truck. Maybe I was just lazy.....
