I've also seen Suburban tanks used. I find that the ramcharger or suburban tanks hang a lot lower... but almost twice the capacity

I wish I could say that I did it.... I had a builder 4 hours away do it. My parents wanted to make sure that nothing happened to the motor, which is understandable as it has sentimental value. The next motor I'll be doing myself though! Thank you!

Will do. I need to stop making excuses of not getting the chassis painted and just go do it lol. The next pictures will be with the chassis painted and the 89 Dana 60 3.54 sure grip hooked up!

The springs aren't rated higher than the axle, the rear axle cap is 5500, spring cap is only 3425.

Thank you, and while it has family memories, it is also making them! It is comical to see my great grandmother trying to understand what I'm doing, as she doesn't have a clue when it comes to vehicles! Hahaha

When I took the wipers off, I discovered a blue paint or primer underneath the white. This is the original cab and the truck has been untouched since it was new. Also, I sanded other areas of the cab/bed/fenders and this blue is only on the front of the cab to the door jamb. Is it primer? Or is it possible they started to spray it the wrong color in factory and just quickly covered it up? Thank

Hey Guys!I'm fairly new to this site. Anyway, my truck is a 1969 D200 Camper Special Custom. 318-727. It was my great grandfathers truck, that was parked up to the axles in mud for 15 years when I found it. He passed 2 years before I was born, so my great grandmother gave it to me for my 13th birthday. She was overjoyed that I wanted it!
