Thanks Norm, i appreciate the explanation. I'll try and kick out a few bucks one of these days. I suppose it's tough to organize a get together when we're all so spread across the country with the exception of the few states where Sweptlines seem to have florished. I think theres about 4 or so Trucks in Maryland.

its been about 7 years since i painted the challenger, so i'm trying to remember how to deal with this on my truck before I paint anything. POR treatment with the acid? i dont think you can simply just sand it through to metal i think it needs something.....

Walk away Max, just walk away. The title doesn't say: "Looking for input or criticism" Russ was simply stating that he was putting his SWEET truck up for sale. The way you respond sounds like approx. 5 of those 20 years in the field were spent in the womb.

I need to figure out the harness part, the regulator has the screw on the side. I bought it as a replacement for my points set-up. The harness doesn't have any other plug on it other than the distributor. just wires....

There seems to be alot of electrical understanding here so I figured I'd ask. I have a '68 with a cheapy replacement voltage regulator, not the original adjustable. I have an NOS Direct Connection conversion harness. I am wondering, and I've had a few confirmations on .org, about running a single field wired alternator. It sounds like I would be fine b/c the replacement reg

I will add that the mirrors themselves are not easy to find. If you're selling mirrors without stems I would be interested if they are in good condition. you can email me: wally426ci@yahoo.com I agree with PwrWgnDrvr that the pairs are bringing good money. if you have an odd set, you will make a
