VW does have a single seater tiny non turbo diesel that gets 2?? mpg I forgot the displacement,, maybe Jimmie remembers. They are supposed to go on sale in China for $600.00 (I can`t believe that but???) There is also an English unit I saw under a cover,, they would only expose it to serious byers,, said entry, seating was totally different, not electric and priced under $10,000.00,, very small and built so as to change the body every few years retaining the chassis and running gear. The same show had a Cali built electric sports car for 100,000,, with all the batteries there was enough room for a golf bag,, 240 miles on a charge. I guess we will have a choice $10,000 or $100,000. can`t afford either.
