John, You can also upgrade to a 12(11 7/8)inch clutch by ordering a disk and plate from a 67-68 D or W 100/200 with a 383. It will bolt right up to your flywheel. I also prefer the wide ratio 435.I have 1 of those 12" disks that has less than 200 miles on it.I decided to scrap the 435 in my pulling rig.The Gertag tranny I am useing has a 1-1/4" input,so I couldn't use the 1" disk. I would sell it to you for $100 shipped.No core charge,if you want to go that route.
Keigi, What are the ratios on the 435D2? I had one in my 67 D300,and it seemed just like a wide ratio 435 to me.
