I may **soon change out my 67 D100 (swb) 4 speed for a 727 I have a 68 D200 which is about to be recycled. If you tell me the transmission crossmember will bolt into my 67 D100frame I shall unbolt it off 3/4 ton frame. Gordo ** whenever edited my error of D300 Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/26/2

Here is my take on it.
If you want,you could just use the lower part of the 69 cross member that bolts to the frame. I have had good results drilling the bottom of the frame rail using a 1/2" drill atop a floor jack.It takes a bit of practice,but alleviates the strain of pushing up on the drill.It also gets you out from under those hot shavings.
I have a set of spanners for your 67s front X member that you could have for the cost of shipping,if you go this route...
