bought many mopars over the years, the short list, 55 dodge royal, 57 Plymouth fury,62 imperial, 65 300L, 65 CSS , 70 D200, 70 polara wagon. also put a 273 in my dad's 54 Willys pickup. pissed off he had to rebuild transmission in the Fury several times after dad mashed it at the drag strap trying to keep up with the 283 Chevy's, seems the fury would shift out of second no matter how hard you held that button, thats when the Chevy's with 4spds would pass it.

sold that CSS it had a \6 and a 3 spd. when he bought the 70 , he wanted 3/4 ton AC, PS, an automatic and a big block, tsk,tsk,tsk.

this is what i bought in 93, paid 26k for it, yep, its got the cummins, a 5spd, sure grip rear end, 354 gears. runs great!
