Another question for you guys. Im tired of leaky master cylinders ruining my firewall and my slave cylinder goes bad every 3 years because of moisture and rust. Silicone seems to be the answer for me. Im really thinking of swaping over to it. Anyone else running it? Will a normal system take it wit

I'm running it in my '62 W100 daily driver. No problems with it other than its expensive. I dealt with the dot3 until it started peeling paint from the firewall. Repainted the firewall and switched to dot5. It still manages to leak out and crawl onto the firewall and collect dust but at least it doesn't peel paint.
If you do decide to switch, blow out as much of the dot3 from the system as possible then put in some denatured alcohol (which eats brake fluid) then blow that out and fill up with dot5.
