Ive had this problem since I bought the truck. The stock AM radio will only pick up one station and even thats not the best reception. I get lots of whiny buzzing sounds when I turn the frequency dial. The anntena works. If I unplug it, I get nothing but static. I know its very dusty underneath my

On most radios there's an adjustment. Turn dial to a strong local frequency, or better yet the desired station. Twist the pot until the signal comes in strongest. Some have a slotted screw adjustment on back, others it's a pot [potentiometer] inside the case. This will be a metal part with a slotted screw in top.

I've heard to adjust for the strongest signal on 1640, but I find that grabbing the local signal you want is better. Adjusting to 1640 gives a wider frequency tuning.
