im new to this forum and in need of some help. I have a 68 crew cab power wagon. 318 with 435 4spd. I drove it to Chryslers at Carlisle and developed a vibration that eventually broke my input shaft at the transfer case. I have since put another transfer and trans and clutch out of another donor po

I think you are going in the right direction, also check the slip joint on your short shaft to make sure there isn't to much play in the splines. If the splines are worn you will get vibrations like it was out of balance.
