Mr. pwrwgndrvr, I think we have bid on the same items
on E-bay in the past.
No problem at all with the check.
I have a good friend of 25 years who owns a brake
parts warehouse. One day he asked me if I thought he
should get into sleeving cylinders. I was of course
all for it. We talked about the options and both
agreed the stainless was the way to go although it is
about twice as expensive as the brass sleeves. They
now do all the calipers for Chicago Corvette and
Midwest Corvette along with the Rolls and Bentley
club. So it has worked out well for them. I will have
the cylinders as long as we are both around, quite a
few more years I surely hope!!!
We can do other sleeving also plus they have a DOT
approved machine to make brake hoses. As long as we
can get the ends[there are several hundred fittings
available].
As you probably know I have many other parts and
recently had the 1954-60 floor mats made. I may try
the 1961-71 floor mats although they are a bit more
expensive, I really don't know why?
I hope this helps and thanks again. Good luck with
your trucks and send photos someday!
