i want to know if any of you have had any success with any rust inhibitors, i have a fair amount of surface rust on my hood and a small amount of money in my "truck fund", i'd like to do something before it gets too bad. IMG_0478.JPG // IMG_0484.JPG //

From my experience with rust, sandblasting or acid dipping is the best. Looking at your hood though you could probably get away with using 3M's rice wheel to get rid of that rust and DA the rest, then use a good epoxy primer before paint.
