Back in the seventies, we had a Winnebago Class A motor home. (Dodge M300) In conversations with mechanics, I was told that some front end alignments required a shop that worked on 18 wheelers since the solid front axle had to be bent.

I haven't had this same conversation for many years and I don't know what the current procedure is. Even back then I had no other vehicle that had a solid beam axle.
