Per,
A piece of angle iron run down to the bolt hole in the top of your tranny x member helps keep the box and frame from twisting. This picture was my first attempt using 1/8 thick ,2" angle. The next truck, I used 3/16" thick 1 1/2" angle and didn't need to do all of the funky notching to clear the box.
