Hello, thank you for the add. I'm the proud owner of a very nice 69 Swept line Camper Special fully loaded. The control valve recently started leaking at the rear of unit. Is this a common thing? Does this mean it needs rebuilt/replaced? Thank you in advance.

There's a member named RoxyFlash that has gone through one or two of
these set ups and rebuilt them. If he doesn't see this thread, you
might catch up with him over at the www.sweptline.org site. The control valve might be able to be fixed.... depending on current availability
of parts. These factory power assisted steering set ups weren't anything to write home about.... Manual steering on these is just about as easy.
