Yes, there are more panels than just the filler at the sides. IIRC, it requires a different panel underneath, and some others. I would have to go study the cabs out back to be specific.
Going big window to small, u can probably make it work with just the fillers and some fab work. Small to large, not.
The issue is that the small back window panel connects the interior and exterior panels. From what I can tell all the inside panels will have to be pulled and then they can be reset inside after they are welded back to stock shape. Once all that is in, then the small panels for the small window can be welded in from outside. He's going to have his work cut out for him on this one I think. I'll post a pic when I get an update.
