I presently have a 318 four speed in a 68 D300. I need more power with cubic inches and will switch to 360 cu. inches and 727.. I will not put in 440 into the D300 due to my ford power steering not fitting as well as engine mount problems. ( frame clearances Regarding my power steering ) Question,.

Steve, I'm hopeful that the transmission out of the half time will work. I agree with you, 440 was a lot more work!
I am eager for good weather as all my work is done outside.
