OK, I don't know what they are called, but the rub against the glass in the door windows to keep water out of the inside of the door. The ones on my 71 D300 are GONE. I see some clips ( covered with paint) where apparently they were attached. So what do I need to know, such as what is they act

Steel rubber products has them. They are difficult to install. I replaced them in my 66 W300. They come with new clips for mounting.
