There is a pic of the location on pg 2 of the 66 FSM but it is quite indecipherable as to where exactly it is. Maybe somewhere on the front or top of the block, left side. I am not aware of it ever specifying -1 or -3. Factory specs don't show hardly any difference between the two.
Is you truck a sweptline W500? If so, no way it is a 1960. First yr for the swepts was 61.
