Oh, okay, that's what I had to do on mine to change tranny & engine. That was also when I discovered the difference in dimensions & metallurgy. The '78 donor frame gave off yellow.orange sparks when ground, the old '67 Townie flashed bright blue/white! Big difference in carbon & maybe nickel content.
