Hi y'all! Wondering if a Club Cab long bed can be swapped to a shot bed? I figure the wheel wells on the short bed probably wouldn't match the longie frame but thought maybe, in a Crew Cab, there might be an exception? It's later model, '78-80 4WD, not sure exact year. It's

Long bed to short bed swap?

Hi y'all!
Wondering if a Club Cab long bed can be swapped to a shot bed? I figure the wheel wells on the short bed probably wouldn't match the longie frame but thought maybe, in a Crew Cab, there might be an exception?
It's later model, '78-80 4WD, not sure exact year. It's the truck with dual vertical headlites, I think a 1 year only front end.
I've always liked the looks of the Club Cab shortie and thought to swap. I also located another one that's stock CC/Short from the factory, but with a guzzling 440/Auto/Fulltime 4WD and quite a ways away. Sure is pretty though, hmmmmm...... I'm a sucker for Red Dodges hah!
