I was at the Dodge dealer the other day in the parts department. I had heard about a brake hose that used to cost $28. Chrysler had to find a new supplier after the bankruptcy and the only supplier they could find is now charging $400.00 for the same hose. I asked the dealer about it and they confirmed it. Its a brake hose for a Dodge Ram.
What took me to the dealer was I could not find SAE 90 oil at the parts stores. I knew the dealer carried it because it was for a Dana 60. SAE 90 was superseded by 80w-90 oil. I asked them why the change? We are having trouble getting somethings since the bankruptcy and there has been part number changes right and left.
