I lost a freeze plug on the 318 Poly last night during its maiden run. I've heard the brass ones are better. Does anyone have a source? I believe they are 1 5/8" dia and the concave disk type (not cup). Thanks, Ron

Use a large socket and hammer them into the block. Dont let them fall below the hole. Grab the edge with large channel lock pliers and pry them out. They bend and distort which gets them thru the hole. Dont try to be too delicate. Kind of a pain when engine is still in the vehicle.
