I was fortunate to get to see the truck in person when
Dan still owned it. At the last MoPar Nationals event
I attended in Columbus, OH, several Sweptline guys got
together at Dan's house [and HUGE garage/shop] to eat
dinner and hang out. A hometown pal of mine, who attends
the Nationals every year, stopped by to "see what all the
hoop-la was about these old trucks". He's owned and restored
big block B, E & A body MoPars for years, drag raced, the
whole nine yards. Even with his vast experience and knowledge
he knew very little about the trucks. He was BLOWN AWAY.
Dan put a ton of time and effort into that HPP truck.
Its good to hear that Sweptlines are getting some ink.
