I guess I'm not up to date on my information but what I last read was that no deal would be worked out with Fiat unless the unions would be willing to cut costs so they can compete with the foreign makers. There isn't funding available for bankruptcy so the pieces of the company would be auctioned off.

It could be the end for both Chrysler and GM.
