Part numbers? Or, if anyone has spares, let me know. The only ones I can find locally are Ranchos, kinda pricey and I'm not sure the quality's all that great... Need fronts and rears for the D300. Sure would like to know where to find Coil-over "load helper" rear shocks for the

Yeah... unfortunately, the engine went through a rebuild shop, on account of a scandalous mechanic ;-( PO said he had it rebuilt on account of "some racket"... could have been exhaust leaks?

Anyhoo, the "mechanic" who went out of business six months later, mangled so much stuff pulling/reinstalling the engine, I wouldn't know where to start... Like the alt with the 3/8 pulleys he went and got from NAPA to replace the factory one with dula 1/2 pulleys, then knocked the bushing out the back ear of the alt (it mounts upside down on this trucack, ran it that way with the alt all screwed up sideways, big belts barely fitting in the pulleys... he wrecked the the alt mount, totally egged it out inside, maybe I'll post a pic of the "repair" I did to it...

Anyway, everything this guy touched was a freakin nightmare... Been smelling coolant whenever it warms up, and just noticed while under it the other day that the idiot didn't put studs in the lower exhaust manifold bolt holes, all bolts... and some are leaking... Duh!!!

I wish I could find this guy, take all his tools away from him... guy was a criminal, everything he did was scandalous. He called the PO on the phone while it was at his shop and asked him "you got any use for this PTO on the tranny?" to which the PO replied "Huh... what's Pee tee Ohhh?" (conjure up a dumb look from another dim bulb, and you get the picture), so the "tech"went ahead and stole the PTO off it...

The list goes on and on, more half assed $hit than I ever seen on one truck, but it's coming around... details, details.... The Devil is in the details they say!

Who's "they"?

;-)
