We don't have any assembly plants in the Atlanta area any more. The Lakewood Chevy plant closed and got mostly torn down in the eighties. A few years ago the Ford plant closed and is now being demolished. Last year the BOP (Buick, Olds, Pontiac) assembly plant closed and is also now being torn down. It's kind of sad to see them go. The old Chevy plant and the Ford plant were rated highest in productivity but were closed down. See what hard work will get you, LOL.
